About Us

Wobert Precision Engineers started life in 1970 as a partnership between Mr Wolf and Mr Sibbert, hence the name. Mr Wolf and his son ran the Company for 15 years before they sold the Company to the present owners, Barry and Elizabeth Walthall.

Barry Walthall our Managing Director, has worked in engineering since starting off as an apprentice and has worked at Rolls Royce Aerospace and Flight Refuelling. Elizabeth Walthall previously worked as an accountant for several family businesses.

During the first 5 years the Company's growth was rapid and the directors decided it would implement a quality procedure recognised throughout the engineering world and attained British Standard 5750, which has since become known as ISO 9001. The Company is very proud to have maintained this important accreditation since 1990.

This of course has opened doors for more customers to use our service and productivity has steadily increased.

In 2000, Jonathan Walthall joined the team and the Company has continued to build a solid reputation for quality and delivery in the local area as well as branching out to service other areas of the United Kingdom.

Building on this reputation the Company began exporting to France and Poland. And since 2005 WPE has exported to China, USA and India on a regular basis.

The Company has continued to invest in the latest technology to improve on cost, efficiency and delivery times. These features are then passed on to the customer in the way of benefits including lower costs and faster delivery.
